| A Small Influence On Koenigsegg | no third clue : The car exists in both coupe and roadster form. Also, a previous model from the same brand also had its name from the same language that this car's name comes from. Last edited by Alok; January 29th, 2007 at 12:12 PM.. |

| You will all hate me now. Lamborghini Murcielago Murcielago, meaning "bat" in Spanish, was a bull from Joaquin del Val di Navarra's farm, man famous for the Miura breeders. Available in Coupe and convertible ![]()

| Sweet. I can't believe that I didn't think of it sooner, though. Mainly I was thinking "animal" and "coupe"...too many people going for German cars, though ![]() 1) This car ran in the 24 hours of LeMans in 1976, and 30 years later, ran in the LeMans Classic in 2006. 2) Unlike the version that ran the LeMans, it's current model is a Sedan rather than a Coupe.

| Wow, quicker than I thought. I suppose the bit about sedan/coupe gave it away. Yes, in 1976 two NASCAR stockers went to LeMans. The oil crisis hit, shrinking the grid at LeMans. "Big" Bill France, ever the entrepenuer, seized the opertunity by asking to fill in spots with stock cars. In 1976, two such cars went. A Ford Torino and the No. 4 Olympia Beer 1972 Dodge Charger. The Charger was chosen because the teams car for that year had wrecked prior to going to LeMans. So, they pulled out their old Charger, and had to get to work putting headlights and taillights back onto the car. Unfortunately, the low octane fuel used in Europe (both teams didn't bring any of the high octane leaded stuff from the US) spelt the end of both team's engines. Some say that this "experiment" helped along the transition of the 24 Hours of Daytona from an ALMS event into a Grand Am event.
