And there were a handful of experimental SM's with a Diesel engine shortly before production was discontinued as I found out, that's why I gave it a try. And the very last hint doesn't leave that much of a choice - since there are only two versions of it and it has a V6, I'd say it's a convertible. ...or do you mean the Golf R32 by any chance (discussable whether that one still falls into the category "family saloon" )Edit: Damn adu, how many times will you beat me today? ![]() | |

Car: Look at my avatar Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Well, i wouldn't say the Golf is a family saloon. So no, it's not a Golf. And it's not a convertible.

| Global Moderator | No 205, no Uno. And it's not Giugiaro, Pininfarina is the right one. |

Car: Golf IV TDI Rep Power: 22 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Peugeot 306 (Hatch, saloon, wagon and at least the convertible's made by pininfarina!) |

| Global Moderator | Not a 306. All versions were designed by pininfarina. EDIT: Just found out there is a not that well-known fifth (utilitarian) version of this car.

| Peugeot 403, then? Seems it has a Coupe, Convertible, Sedan, Estate, and Pick-up models, I'm guessing the Pick-up version is the lesser known variant. All versions designed in conjunction with Pininfarina.

| Okay, guess that leaves just one other car, the Peugeot 504. Like the 403 it came in coupe, convertible, sedan, wagon, and pickup truck variants. Process of elimination, I suppose...

| ^ I was hesitant about the 504, though. It seems that pininfarina only takes claim for the coupe and convertible, where as the 403 and 205 they claim are all theirs. Okay, this one might be a bit easy: 1. Never won a race in the racing series it was named after. 2. Although it's sister car will be making a return soon, it is unlikely this car will follow suit.

| Global Moderator | I think this one is pretty easy, and i have a sneaking suspicion, but i'm too lame to come up with another set of clues so i'll leave it to someone else. And to my knowledge pininfarina (co-)designed all versions of the 504 (with the pick-up i guess just the front end) |
