Car: 1997 Audi A6 Avant 2.8 quattro Rep Power: 40 | 1. In the 48 years this car has been in production, its been built at 7 different assembly plants (6 spread around 2 States, one in a different country. The plant outside the US only was used for 4 years to make this car in the 80s) 2. This name has appeared on 2-door convertibles, coupes, and 4-door sedans. 3. Its been sold with a large variety of V6 and V8s 4. The replacement for this "domestic" car is actually an import.

For one year only, (1966) it was available with a performance package common among other models from the manufacturer. Production ended in 1970. |

Car: 1997 Audi A6 Avant 2.8 quattro Rep Power: 40 | I'm gonna end this American land-yacht theme. 1. This car was only built for 4 years in the 70s. 2. It was a 3 door hatchback. 3. A year after this car was introduced, a rebadged version was put into production by a different manufacturer. The rebadged version outsold this car, causing it to be discontinued. The rebadged version is still sold today.
