Audi quattro (or as we say here in Germany "Urquattro"/"primordial quattro") is correct, it was the first high volume model with 4WD so it spawned all the 80s rally-monsters like the 205 Turbo 16, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale or the infamous Audi quattro S1 "Pikes Peak".
I know the Audi Quattro S1 Pikes Peak, and I love it.
4 speed manual/3 speed auto
Not a Subaru.
Edit: I don't think the justy ever had a flat-4 engine or 3-speed auto gearbox.

Not a Porsche.
Sorry, I had a small mistake: the car was available with a 4-speed manual or 3-speed semi-auto gearbox

The Citroën GS? Came with an air cooled flat four with 4 speed manual or 3 speed "C-Matic" semi-auto gearbox.
That's the one.
Thanks - as you might have guessed from the avatar, I like old Citroëns
Alright - next quiz: hydropneumatic suspension, but not a Citroën.
Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL 6.9 (W116)?
Fits the clues but not the car I had in mind.
Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow/Bentley T1/T2?
Maserati Quattroporte II?
