Anyone want a project?

So basically, I need someone to setup PHPlist for me. It'd be best if whoever volunteered had experience with PHPlist as the idea is to save me time and work and it'd be defeating the purpose if I had to explain everything to whoever volunteers. And while I would appreciate the thought, I really would rather you didn't volunteer unless you really do know what you're doing here.

Anyway, I need it setup to work as a mailing list for the site. It needs to look like the main site if possible (but not required). I can provide a testing area for whoever to set up PHPlist.

What a dumb post. I know what its like when you really need something and you see a reply and some dumbass posted a silly moronic joke or a dumb quwestion. so you see the reply and after reading the post you get your hopes up. images/smilies/thumbdown.gif

I could probably do it myself, but configuring it correctly is driving me nuts and frankly, I'm sick and tired of messing with the thing trying to get it to work right. images/smilies/thumbdown.gif

I've been watching this site grow and progress from a far for a little while now, and one question has been nagging me since I saw it go up. Why did you goto all the trouble of programming a completely new backend when plenty of other portals exist already with all the functionality that you desire built right in. Seems like a lot of work to me, reinventing the wheel that is.

I'm not trying to put down what you did I think it's a great job, however I just think maybe there are more productive ways to get things done. :~)

Well, with my code, I can garuntee no unneeded code exsists and such.

It may not seem like it, but it's actually easier to code this site from scratch rather than to try to merge other scripts / get them to work how I want.

I hear you, I just didn't think products like PHPnuke were that hard to configure, everything you don't want just gets shut off.
