Car: Dodge Viper (I wish!) Rep Power: 234 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | So basically, I need someone to setup PHPlist for me. It'd be best if whoever volunteered had experience with PHPlist as the idea is to save me time and work and it'd be defeating the purpose if I had to explain everything to whoever volunteers. And while I would appreciate the thought, I really would rather you didn't volunteer unless you really do know what you're doing here. Anyway, I need it setup to work as a mailing list for the site. It needs to look like the main site if possible (but not required). I can provide a testing area for whoever to set up PHPlist. PM me or send me an e-mail via the button below if you're interested and skilled enough. Please don't waste my time if you don't know what you're doing. ![]() Questions? Post. ![]()

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I've been watching this site grow and progress from a far for a little while now, and one question has been nagging me since I saw it go up. Why did you goto all the trouble of programming a completely new backend when plenty of other portals exist already with all the functionality that you desire built right in. Seems like a lot of work to me, reinventing the wheel that is. I'm not trying to put down what you did I think it's a great job, however I just think maybe there are more productive ways to get things done. :~) |

It may not seem like it, but it's actually easier to code this site from scratch rather than to try to merge other scripts / get them to work how I want.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I hear you, I just didn't think products like PHPnuke were that hard to configure, everything you don't want just gets shut off. |
