If you can read this, the forums and site are up. If you can't, then tough.

July 23rd 2009, 6:25 - 7:15PM EST + a bit extra: Downtime due to network outage in datacenter.
From the datacenter:
"The root cause of the problem was a failed 4x10GE blade on one of our core routers. When the traffic failed over to the other core router it has crashed the router thus causing complete network outage.
We have attempted to recover the core setup under existing configuration but once it became apparent that the blade was defective we had to move some uplinks and take the blade offline."

Connectivity is going up and down. Please be patient. If you can't get through, try again in a few minutes (although I guess you can get through if you're reading this...).

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.

The datacenter our servers are in is experiencing a DDoS, which is causing intermittent connection trouble. If you can't load a page (or connect to IRC), try again in a couple minutes.

Edit: Everything is back to normal now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
