Default eMule

Discovered eMule today and I like it. So, I'll be added eMule links to the download pages as well. images/smilies/smile.gif

Dunno how well it'll work, but we'll give it a try.

I love eMule, I like it better than WinMX.

I generally find a lot more on eMule than Kazaa or WinMX (I'm generally not looking for mp3's).
And compared to eMule, WinMX takes forever to search.

Now I am behind a firewall and have a private ip so I don't know if that makes a huge difference with WinMX, but I get the impression that a lot of people are behind firewalls or have a private ip.

Emule is a derivitive of edonkey. They both uses the same servers. There is a lot of stuff on the network but speed is usually slow. 2 to 3 days for downloading a 700mb file is the norm, and this is for files with like 50 seeds.

Emule has a search function so people who don't know this site may end up downloading (and sharing) the videos.
I downloaded a lot of best motoring videos this way, but I never found complete Top Gear or Fifth Gear episodes.

Note: I'm italian, so forget my english images/smilies/mrgreen.gif

05/25/2003
06/08/2003
06/22/2003
07/06/2003
11/02/2003
11/09/2003
11/16/2003
11/23/2003
12/07/2003
12/21/2003
12/28/2003
01/25/2004

As for the speed, I don't have a fast enough of a connection to be able to tell.

I've been using eMule for about two years now...great program. But I just went to their site today and found out THIS. So beware of this scam...remember eMule is free and always has been.
