I concur - looks like we really like the show and want others to like it too like that. I like the Take Me - simple change but nice touch!

The old shows do not have a rating but for the new ones where there a scores in the post ep discussion perhaps that they could be added - so you'd get a priority sequence of the best shows in the series. ...

Or you could give them you own rating. ...

Do you need some kiind of help in getting pictures or something? I thouth that for each episode a GIF that had three or four images of the episode ( EX: 10X03 - one pic of the Rolls , another of the Ferrari, one of the Peel and another of the veyron)

I figured one image was good enough, plus it'd be even more work using a GIF. Plus I think it'd look weird which it animated especially with the multiple images (they wouldn't change at the same time on the first page load).

What about that feature where it's a static image until you mouse over it, and it cycles through a few different images? I can't remember how it's done, but I know it's possible...

I like this new layout a lot. No need to get really fancy, but the screen shots help in visually identifying which episodes you are looking for (if you have an idea of what you are searching for).

Yeah, that's possible and I could do it, but it just makes for a lot more work to maintain the site with not much of a payoff.

Too true. I've never done it myself, cause i'm lazy and a static .png normally works fine, but I was getting my thoughts out. images/smilies/wink.gif

If an episode is missing a page or a screenshot (minus season 8), then by all means make some screenshots (one per segment). images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I went through the Wiki and if the article existed for the episode and the article had a screenshot, I used it.

That can wait though as I have placeholders. Then it'll be easy to see what's missing.

Ratings are just randomly generated scores for use as placeholders. They'll be replaced with scores pulled from the forums assuming I can figure out how to do it...

Should be doable, just pull the poll's results from the DB, and generate an average.

I was hoping to use the vB API, but it's poorly documented.

Otherwise I have to open up a whole new database connection with different credentials, query, etc. I just checked out the table structure though and it wouldn't be too bad. Just one row + an explode().

Correct, there are no articles or screenshots for season 11.

You could even make the articles for season 11 if you wanted to (only if you wanted to, it's fine if not). Just copy/paste the contents of like a season 10 article and edit it.

Start by uploading the image: http://wiki.finalgear.com/wiki/Special:Upload Before uploading, please name the file like "TopGear03x01a.jpg" or something along those lines. Basically something to distinguish what episode it's from.

Once it's uploaded, find the article for the episode: http://wiki.finalgear.com/wiki/Top_Gear_Episode_Guides

If the episode already has an article (i.e. a red link), then just edit it and add the image(s). Use the source of this page as an example of where/how images should be inserted: http://wiki.finalgear.com/wiki/Final...sting_Template

If the article for the episode is missing (i.e. a grey link), then you will need to create it. Click the grey link and then start editing. Copy/paste the source of the above template, edit it to match the details for the episode (if you're in a hurry, you can leave the episode contents, i.e. what was in the episode, blank). Try and at least fill in the airdate, etc. though.
