Default iPod format

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has considered releasing the new Top Gears and Fifth Gears in an iPod compatible format? It's really easy to convert them using iSquint, but my computer isn't very fast so it takes me a while to convert it over after I download it. (It takes me about and hour or two to convert an hour long AVI to a 320x240 mp4, which kind of seems like a waste just so that i can maybe watch it on my iPod sometime.

Anyway, is there a demand for this? If anyone is interested I would be willing to do it and then I guess it could be offered here and/or at iPod Nova or something in addition to the higher quality AVI.

It would probably be a good thing if the demand was there, but I hate when I look for torrents and all of them are iPod formats... as if everyone has an iPod and watches videos on it. I hate it... I hate it!!!

Same here but not that long. But it's no bother as I just leave it running over night and then it's all done images/smilies/smile.gif

You said your using iSquint - you should use Xilisoft Video Convertor OR Videora convertor.

Anyway there isn't enough demand for this site to do videos in iPod format so I don't think it's gonna happen.

I feel your pain and I know exactly what you mean. I hate all of Apple's iCrap like nothing else!

If you want to play your video in a non-standard way, then convert it yourself.
