WOW, just found this thread and I have to say great work VIPER- sites looking good *shrug* Malcolm's is better though!! Sorry, it is that much better and I certainly don't believe in pressuring you like this unless its nessesary!! I recognise there could be another version of this site (in time..).
I'll give you some more input on the new site: TITLE AND HEADING- looks great! The news should be written up with some colour or something. And I really liked how you roll your mouse over the download to see what is on it. That worked. Keep up the work Malcolm. Would be good to see Vipers new site originally designed by an Aussie! |

However, everything else is looking great. Here's the carbon fiber pattern if anyone wanted it for the background. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...lman337/bg.bmp

![]() I'm still pushing for this design, except I tweaked it a little. Edit: 100th post mark.

I have a nitpick too
You need to pop the dates on the news items somewhere so we can quickly see if something new is there on the way through to the forums. Oh, and I may have mentioned this before, but how about replacing Tiff with Vicki

I was thinking, where you have the 'latest forum topics' on the home page, you could replace with an area with links to all the threads you are monitoring (when logged on obviously). Just a thought
Also, anyone know font was used here:

I also may just get rid of that whole area as it requires queries to update it and if someone spams the forums, it'll appear on the main page.

Sl55amg, the font used is called 'steelfish' (I probably got it at www.dafont.com). I used that font also on the main logo up top.

Also on Viggen's design, i rather like that 'top gear' image and reckon it should replace the one on the chosen template.

Also, Will the forum "headlines" be direct links to the threads or just what's there , not links ?

Just prefer the current style with all the carbon fiber - I think it's simple, subtle and it just works really well.
