New Site Logo/Design - Page 9

^ If possible, I'd like the background of the post area (where the text is) slightly lighter, it just makes it a bit easier to read.
One other concern I have is that I read the forum at work.
Right now if somebody glances at my screen when they walk by, it at least somewhat looks like it could be mistaken for some sort of work related app because of the light background.
If the background is dark, it'll stand out. images/smilies/ph34r.gif

Texture is always nice. If I am to comment anything it will be the "Community Forum" text, wich kinda doesnt fit in.

Where you thinking of changing the picture of the Carrera GT often?

I really like it though. Logo aswell, allthough I think the Gearlever looks a bit oversized.
Great work everyone, Nogger, your logo looks good too, but fits better on a T shirt or something. images/smilies/smile.gif

This current theme will stay available, but it will just no longer be the default. images/smilies/smile.gif

Good, thats what I had in mind. That or maybe different cars for each place on the forum. How about a McLaren F1 for the Automotive section, an electric car for "Problems" and a Bicycle for "Off Topic" for instanse? Could've been awesome, dont you think? images/smilies/smile.gif

I haven't decided if the main site's content boxes will be brushed metal like the forum or white or what yet though, so let's bounce ideas.

I say lose the "moving" effet in the logo, it's really ugly, and 2ndly, I prefer the Ferrari-like one, it's more car enthusiat-related.

THe carbon fiber is too big, scaling it down would make it look better, the orange text has to become red, other than that it's perfect, I do like the "forum" under the logo, community could be removed though.
