Definately the worst part of the three. Felt hastily put together, and it felt like you were trying to say EVERYTHING you could when driving the car, and some things didn't really sound all that trustworthy. Also, a 6hp difference could easily just be down to temperature or humidity, and frankly for spending 1k$, it's not impressive. I personally preferred the first part, because it didn't feel as rushed and didn't involve as much blatant acting (You might be a presenter, but you're not an actor images/smilies/smile.gif)

Oh yeah, how come you didn't feature the underglow neons and the Ballin' gear knob?!

More to the point - did it work? I think yoyu should've done a compression test before/after. You had the plugs out anyways, you just needed the tool...

Wow. 1000 dollars spent and you gained six horsepower! That's mighty impressive, right there.

Gotta be honest, if you did the same sort of service in an older car than that (say something from the early to mid 80's) I think you'd get a much more noticeable result.

That said, you got a result, good job.

6hp isn't much, but that's just that one car. Remember how much power TG got out of the Avantime just by doing essentially the same things.

I agree with Nabster though, unless it's a mint condition low mileage example, because it obviously won't have the wear you'd expect from that age of car.

They only really paid around $200/$300 for 6HP, the rest was brakes/tires/superfluous accessories. That said, I hope he wasn't planning on driving that back to Connecticut anytime soon (saw the plates), a i doubt the Z-rated Goodyears will be if any use in the snow.

only $263 was spent on horsepower, the rest of it was brakes and tires, which clearly improved the lap times. 6 hp from fluids and filters is not bad though.

And yet you didn't feature the most effective performance mods, which must have netted you at LEAST a 50 horsepower increase..images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Hey Matt,

Take all this with a few grains of salt, a lime and a shot of tequila. These guys can be pretty harsh critics after the fact something has been posted and in final production.

Take all of what has been written as constructive and produce a kick ass show.

i'd say try to shorten the video, too many in car videos, and try when you start talking after a few seconds edit the movie and put some different shots of the car, and don't make those shots last too long.
And try to be more convincing when someone is "stealing" your car, become more dramatic or something.

anyway, nice video, next time, when you try to improve a car, search for a real beater, it didn't had that much power loss.
