G419 guys,
Why not do a show covering high performance driving events? There's a few groups that do it in the tri-state area, but not a lot of people seem to know about them. I know, the fewer people on the track the better, but maybe having a larger following would lead to more track days? It would be a great way to show off some of your skills and get some quality time on a race track. Lime Rock Park, Monticello, NJMP, and Watkins Glen are all great locations. |

part of the reason for the break in the show is that I am moving from New York to Los Angeles.

Or maybe review different car maker's 'driving experiences'. These are where you pay some money to drive the company's car around a track with an instructor and then they let you loose out there. It's really awesome because it lets anyone who can save up around a grand or two depending to drive something like an Audi R8 around a track for a full day or two.
Some that I've been very interested in: http://www.truthinengineering.com/au...ng-experience/ http://www.arielatomexperience.com/ http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...s/MSchool.aspx |

I did the audi driving experience (the free one) and had us compare the lexis is250 awd, bmw 328xi(or which ever one is awd) and the a4 3.2 quattro. It was alot of fun except they asked us at the end which we liked best from a driving perspective, and I said bmw, and the instructor said I was wrong... Not sure how that works, but he quit asking me bc he didn't not like what I was saying. I loved the audi don't get me wrong, but from a track point of view the bimmer has it beat.

If you were willing to meander north at some point...we might be able to find a racecar for you to drive at an HPDE...

In California? My Vette is fully track ready, so I can bring that to the track and test out one of your race cars too

I would love to see an episode with you driving your vette at an HPDE. That would be awesome. Maybe give some feed back on the cars mods, etc, etc.

I just started working with World Class Driving and I've been trying to get them to invite you out to do an event for the publicity. I think your show is a great platform to showcase some of our programs. When are you moving? We're gonna do a 200 m.p.h event in the Mojave this october and our other driving programs will be on the east coast for the next few months.

Trust me... Thunderhill is a whole different experience...with cool elevation changes and everything...it has a bit more of the element of "going somewhere" to it. It's not Laguna or Sears, but on the other hand...it doesn't have lots of things to hit, either.
