History has put up that the "One Tank" [of gas] episode will air on the 4th of September.

How far can you get on one tank of gas? The guys find out as they race from Portland, Oregon to San Francisco without being able to fill up. Whoever makes it closest gets the chance to drive the toughest off road machine in the world in a high-octane race in the remote Colorado mountains.

Google Maps pegs the fastest route at 636 miles. It probably won't be as interesting as when the UK crew went to Blackpool as the route here is extremely straightforward - 544 miles of it is spent on Interstate 5.
