Music at the end was Cavatina.

Also "Why So Serious?" from The Dark Knight was used twice.

M83 - Lower Your Eyelids To Die with the Sun from the album - Before the dawn heals us (brilliant) was used when Jezza was relaxing at that pool.

what's the song that plays when they're beginning the bikes-on-water bit, the symphonic piece? i know i've heard it before - it's driving me nuts!

Does anyone know the instrumental that played when Jeremy first sees the bar at the end of the episode?

I'm pretty sure it's been used in the show before.

Edit: Off the top of my head, I remember hearing...

David Bowie - Queen Bitch
Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter

Long shot and rubbish description coming up......

Does anyone know the song that played when Clarkson started talking about what he would do if his kids bought a bike? It was only the intro of the song and was quick guitar strumming, sounded like a familiar and well known song but I just couldnt think of it.

Apologies this is so vague....hope someone knows what I'm on about.

Cheers

hi does anyone also know the song which was played when they were driving through the mountains. The track had a slightly western feel to it if that helps :p

The best TG soundtrack ever?!

Lalo Schifrin - Scorpio's View was used a lot and/or maybe other tracks from the Dirty Harry score

A couple of Who tracks from Quadrophenia - The Real Me, Bell Boy, I've Had Enough, The Punk & The Godfather (I think) plus Magic Bus also by The Who

A couple of Rolling Stones tracks - Gimmie Shelter, Paint It Black and The Last Time

Two Hendrix tracks - Little Wing and Voodoo Child

Wayne Fontana (a relative of mine!) - The Game of Love

One or two Bond tracks were used on the amphibious bit - a track of Casino Royale and Thunderball I think

Cream - Crossroads was the first track used

It seemed it was mainly stuff from the Vietnam war era or from Vietnam films were used.

I've often wondered if the presenters have a say in what tracks are used, as for some reason the soundtrack seemed very Jeremy orientated!

Can't wait for the mp3 clips to match everything up I'm sure I've missed loads out but thats what comes off the top of my head.

Ride of the Valkyries by Wagner I think

and I think there's some 'V for Vendetta' soundtrack music by Dario Marianelli in there towards the end

I need to know the song when Jezza's near the end, quite dramatic orchestral thing...

There were quite a few excerpts from tracks by Susumu Yokota. A lot of the more eastern sounding instrumental tracks were by him.

There were definitely a couple off "The Boy And The Tree" ("Live Echo" and "Future Tiger" I think) plus a bunch more. The TG music people often get a little lazy and rip a good chunk of an album...

Its just as they are leaving the '13th century' village, is it a Bowie track?

The End by The Doors when they were starting the journey. (main song in Apocalypse Now)
