1929 Willys Whippet (Mid mount turbo)

Not much progress on the car but today was the first day of tangible progress on my shop. After being in permit (Development and Building) limbo for 8 months everything finally went through.

Started today with a rented bobcat to work at leveling the pad for the shop. It was about 3' difference from high side to low corner. (metal posts show corners of the shop). The view from the shop will be decent to looking out at the Rockies:thumbup:

After about 8 hours on the bobcat digging about 1' of frost and lots of roots I made about 2' of progress in the cut out of the top. Hope to get it fully leveled out by tomorrow at noon.

Phantom, I am in Cochrane.

Today finished the rough leveling. It is good enough to get the building up and has drainage cut to keep water off the pad area. Ended up filling about 18" of good clay in the low corner after cutting the grass/topsoil out. Also put the trees in a nice pile to have a camp fire tomorrow night with the family. 2 of the 4 quality inspectors had to come check it out too.
