February launch for Red Bull's RB5
Red Bull have announced that their new car, the RB5, will make its track debut at the Spanish circuit of Jerez on February 9 - significantly later than several of the team?s rivals, who have already revealed January launch dates.

?Our strategic plan has always been to take full advantage of the later start to the 2009 season," said Red Bull team principal Christian Horner. "And we are using the time to ensure we have optimised the car as much as possible, within the regulation changes, to start on the grid in Melbourne."

February 9 it is then for Red Bull.

Ugh, as expected those wings look horrid. The cleaner bodywork looks fantastic, but those wings...

Is it weird to think that grooved tires made the cars look better?

If this had last years wings it would look awesome but it still does look ok.

Those mirrors are pushing the regulations a bit. At which point does a mirror become more of an aerodynamic device than a mirror?

That fucking looks like a Dallara F3 !!!

NO WAI !!!!

And wtf, F60 ? Not F2009 ?

The car has been named as a way of celebrating the fact that Ferrari are the only team to have competed in each of the 60 years of the Formula One world championship.
