Old vs. New

I honestly would rather have the old 911. The new ones do nothing for me, especially given that Porsche is pimping PDK hard.
Old vs. New
many picutres.....]
It's already started, about a year ago Chris Harris wrote a column in EVO about the 964 and how the turbo models residuals have increased over the past five years to the point where a 964 Turbo 3.6 is now worth almost twice as much as it could fetch five years ago. Values are increasing on the regular 964 Carreras as well, that was the last 911 model with the original narrow body style. The successor, the 993, featured flared arches front and rear also with the Carrera models. The 964 is also the chassis of choice for backdating projects such as the Singer 911, due to it's narrow body style, stiffer chassis, multilink suspension, and how (relatively) easily you can fit older style parts to it and make it look the part too...I'm just afraid this previously unloved model (the 964) is going to start skyrocketing in value soon. Then I'll have to either go newer with a 996 or older with a Carrera 3.2 or even 986S.... The 964 is so perfect though...
Grad school....why oh why? I could probably afford one in a year or two if I wasn't about to start grad school.
997 is as cheap as Porsche driving gets over here, excluding the Boxter. But they are just the least thought after model...
Err, the "first watercooled" was the 996, not the 997...Also I think the looks and the "first watercooled" make it that cheap.
FML.So skip it! It's just a way to forestall real life for people who don't want to leave school. It's not like you'll learn any life skills there anyway. No kids and no student loans are a great path to motoring nirvana.
