Okay... anytime Autoblog posts anything about Buicks, I usually post how boring they are, or how they're for geriatric old farts that suffer from incontinence. Then I get marked down like crazy. Case in point:

I post how this car sucks, as all buicks do, because it's soft, not even really a luxury car, and boring. So boring that it makes a Camry seem exciting. But yet... all these people defend it. There are tons of people excited about this car... and I'm not high right now, but what the hell is everyone else smoking?

look, I'm down with you expressing your opinion and all, but you just can't go around spreading your buick hate everywhere; especially if it is a Buick you have never, ever seen or driven before.

I'm twitching with my hand above the neg rep button myself, and I'm only slightly fond of Buick.

I'm certainly intrigued by a Buick with a 6-speed manual hooked to a blown four, though I'll admit I still probably wouldn't buy one. More manual transmissions in the world can only be described as a positive development.

a) The new Buick Regal is a rebadged Opel Insignia. The Opel Insignia being sold in the North America is considered a big deal.

b) Automotive journalists remember the old Buick Regal which had some famous performance versions.

c) A Buick getting a six-speed manual. That should be your WTF.

d) You're an idiot if you think the new Regal is more boring than a Camry. The Insignia/Regal is actually a good car, and even the rest of the Buick line which actually is shit isn't as bad as the Camry.

Is the rest of the Buick line shit still? The new LaCrosse looks quite nice and now it comes in AWD, and the Enclave seems to be a perfectly acceptable gigantic SUV thing. Sure, the Lucerne is like driving expired plain yogurt, but I heard it's getting canned.

The Rover V8 was a Buick badge engineered - and it was a brilliant design. We do not get Buicks over here so I will now shut the F*** Up.
