Automobile Mag publishes its top 10 list of hot wagons

Good list, I have to say I agree with almost all of it

The RS4, E63 and M5 deserve to be the top positions. The 300C should be higher IMO and I think it looks silly in red btw. The Legacy should be higher...I think the problem is the Americans don't get the nicer versions...Automobile Mag should see them!

The BMW wagon is nice but Automobile Mag should have listed the petrol version instead. I disagree with the Lancer being on there. That rear end is unforgivably ugly, IMO.

I'm amazed - only one I disagree with (the Vectra). RS4 Avant deserves it's no. 1 place.

Stupid selection - they didn't even include the grand daddy of them all - the Audi RS2, instead, Modeo and Vectra make their appearance :bangin:

Or..wait a minute - why's that list limited to current models only?

mmm hot wagons... sooooo awesome. other than the legacy being higher i think it's a pretty good list

I think the Legacy wagon should be higher up on the list as well, but it would have been a cooler list if it was the Hot Wagons of all time :D, but I don't think any of the Volvo's would have made it on that list as well

That would be the Dodge Magnumin red.

Yes, the picture was of the Magnum, but in many markets they don't get that...they get this instead:

And since obviously the list is from a foreign version of the magazine (hence the Alfa listing) they included both names, and the poster responded using the name it in their location.

It's no different than everyone else calling it a Monaro, and some calling it a GTO...

Actually I believe it is from the American version of the magazine:

NINTH PLACE: Ford Mondeo Wagon Concept

This pre-production concept shown at the 2006 Paris show makes us oh-so-very jealous of Ford's European models. They get this gem and we get what? The Freestyle? Yeah, that's fair....

And the 300C was not actually shown in red.

Bloody hell i didn't know there was an Evo wagon o_O

It's not. That particular Mondeo is still a concept, isn't it?

That's even a bigger shame then. I just noticed that the Volvo 850 T5-R isn't listed as well as is any Volvo. Whoever was making it had some very mad ideas about the so-called Top Ten hot wagons.

If America got the proper versions of the Legacy/Liberty, they would have rated it right up there just behind the top 3.

Ohhh I want one of those when I can afford it  You may as well call that my realistic dream car ;) Yes in that colour, yes in that form (estate) :)

Good car, no very good car, I like scoobys (see sig) and wagons too.

I really don't see why wagons are seen as uncool. They're like the mullets of automobiles with their combination of business and party capabilites. 8)

My first car was supposed to be a 1980 Plymouth wagon. I wish the transmission hadn't gone out, I would have loved to have driven that thing.
