The internet is awesome.
My dad has photocopies of a Finnish fairytale (well, the German translation) that was first published in 1962. He's been looking for a printed copy for ages, probably for longer than I've lived - he read the story to me from those photocopies when I was a child. Today, I decided to give the search another try and, with a lucky combination of Google, Wikipedia and very basic Finnish, I succeeded and found the title of the German translation. I'd forgotten it and didn't want to ruin the surprise by asking him to give me the photocopies... or maybe the cover is even missing from the photocopies and my dad doesn't remember the title either. Anyway, the book was available on Amazon and should arrive well before his 75th birthday. So he doesn't know a thing and will get a book that he's been searching for decades.
Fuck yeah, internet.
