Bad cars you have a soft spot for?

Actually I have a soft spot for the Opel (Vauxhall) Astra...

First of all because i drive one, but i liked it even before i got one...i think it looks sporty and sleek (is that even a word?)

O yes, and I'm back :)

And no thats neither a joke nor do I want to discuss it. I think its a really bad car from a technological point of view but I really want one.

When they drive buy I just dream of going onto a highway and flooring that.

the citroen mehari , probably the best car for the summer when you're with friends cruising (slowly) near the beaches.Sadly they're overpriced for this reason, every one wants one on the cotes d' azur.
So it's now a very cool car to have.

That wasn't a bad car, it was a brilliant revoluntionary car.

peter3hg2 Yes, until the subframe and wheel arches rusted to bits and the drivers door dropped 2 ins.
Yes but basically all cars did that in the 60's. An average 3 year old car would have been falling to bits.

Not my first car but my second that I got after I totalled my jeep. 1989 Pontiac Bonneville LE. Very basic car that honestly I didn't like when I got it but I needed transportation and it was cheap. I bought it with 91,000 miles on it and sold it with a 150,000 on it for well honestly a couple of hundred more then I paid for it.

I had updated it with most of the suspension components from later 90s Bonnevilles and it actually handled ok for a big boat.

If I got another one I would get one of these.

More highly equipeed SSE version that was a bit more luxury. I even like the kind of gheto 80s styling with the body kit and wheels.

haha, I was thinking about changing my avatar since it doesn't make much sense without you around, but I guess now I don't need to ;)

*flashback*My friend bought a used Crown Vic a couple of years ago...he got into so much trouble with that damn car, i.e. being arrested for officer impersonation(long story), being shot at by gang members, installing a siren and pulling over freshmen on campus, etc. He was such an idiot.....*flashback*
