Best version of VLC?

Wow, yer right !

I've been testing this for a few days and now made it default player for all files.

Plays everything, no codecs needed.

Thanks for the tip. I'll be yelling it from the mountain tops from now on.

Also gave it a try, the first time it opened, showed me some website with ads and definitely heard some "internet explorer clicks" ... kinda slow.
Closing it and trying playing some files with it now. But still not the best first impression.

You are doing something wrong then. I have used vlc for years. Never had ads and no weird clicks.

Yeah the clicks were definitely coming from KMP
Along with the weird problem moving it between monitors, I am not so convinced.

I use MPC with CCCP codec. Seems to work for most stuff. I only use VLC for the weird BDRip here and there.
