Bond 23: Skyfall

I donno about you guys, but I wouldn't complain about Olivia Wilde as a Bond girl.

Another car possibility: V12 Vantage? I wouldn't complain about that either. Though I would like to see a One-77.

The One-77 is highly unlikely. Apart from the fact they are all sold the cost of using just one would be prohibitive and most speculators are certain that Bond 23 will have a much lower budget than the $187m that Quantum cost!

^ Out of curiosity, who would you suggest for the artist? I'm going to go out of left field and suggest Faye Wong, based on this track:

That could work, but I'd rather see them go with somebody a bit unknown. Yes, Faye Wong's a mega star but I think someone who's more in the moment would be better suited to the job, she has only just showed up on the radar after a five year hiatus.

I don't mind who the bond girl is, Olivia Wilde sounds good. I also hope that the next theme rocks like Casino Royale's did.

What matters also is the villain, as Dominic Greene and his poncy henchman were crap and had the collective threatening capabilities of a marshmallow. The next villain should not be afraid of scuffing his handmade French footwear when he kicks some ass.

Mark Strong is the rather obvious choice for the nemesis, though I would rather see him as a 00 agent who assists Bond, as he's rather typecast as a baddie.

Mark Strong would be great as either villain or good guy, altho I hope they don't turn into the "betrayal" route again ala Goldeneye.

Come to think of it I can't think of a villain role for the next movie that isn't some form of cliche.

That's because the entire Bond franchise is a clich?. And I mean that in an endearing way.

SPECTRE and Soviet remnants. it just attacks the clich? and spits it right out. either that or Yakuza.

I quite like the idea of Quantum, its a sort of modern SPECTRE that feeds into modern fears that there is a group of rich people controlling all the world's events.

Still Daniel Craig, not interested.

out of interest who would you rather had the part?

I don't mind Craig, but I wish they had chosen Clive Owen.

<-- liked Sontam of Qualace :p

The only Bond films I've ever liked are the most recent two and, also, the two with Timothy Dalton as Bond. The rest are far-out fantasy with out-of-this-world cheesy villains like Batman or something (I don't like Batman either).
