lol at the random Lancia Thesis.

Teaser for a trailer.
Fuck that shit.

From what I hear main one is due to drop some time tomorrow.

Shows serious promise.

Surprised to see Christoph Waltz back. I thought he definitively said no reprising the role. But then again, Craig also definitively said he was done with Bond.

I'm looking forward to this one. I like that they are exploring the fact that Bond is getting old and his injuries keep mounting up and taking a toll on him.

Life imitating art. Craig's wife, the lovely Rachel Weisz, has been on record saying she worries about the toll the role has already taken on his body.

I am also looking forward to this one. If they can include that bike jump in the trailer then I have high hopes for the action we haven't yet seen.

Man, I cannot wait for someone else to cover this song. It's not bad, but it's also not doing it for me; more breathy moaning from Eilish with the exception of a single verse.

Tina Turner's Goldeneye and Garbage's theme to The World is Not Enough were much better. Hell, I even prefer Chris Cornell's Casino Royale theme and Sam Smith's Spectre theme (and Smith's Writing's on the Wall was pretty much panned as a terrible theme at the time).

The James Bonding Podcast did a show on alternate versions of James Bond songs a while ago, both rejected versions and covers and some where actually very good - maybe even better than the actual movie songs.

The one that sticks out for me was Blondie's For Your Eyes Only.

WAYYY better than Sheena Easton's official version IMO.

On the subject of "nearly" Bond themes, while Stormbreaker may have been pretty lame and aimed at teenagers, the theme was certainly better than a many of the official efforts over the years.

I guess I was pleasantly surprised by Billie Eilish, because I put it miles ahead of Sam Smith's effort from last time. And on the subject of criminally snubbed, I have to bring up kd lang's theme for Tomorrow Never Dies, here laid over the opening titles as it should've been.

^ wow that a big deal. I had already started receiving Google ticket offers. I'm guessing it would have been catastrophically bad for them in Asia
