Here's a new spin on an old idea. This will go nowhere, but I thought that I'd share it anyway.

Holley Motorette to Bradford, Pennsylvania.

While there, the trio could go around and see how much isn't left of what was Bradford in its heyday and also stop by places like the Zippo/Case Museum, American Refining Group (which now occupies what was originally the Kendall Motor Oil Refinery), the various mansions that are still standing, GlenDorn which occupies the spot that was the Nusbaum Chemical Co., what is left of what was the Pennzoil building (originally the Dresser building), and the locations where the Holley's built their vehicles.

While there, they could also visit nearby Warren, Pennsylvania, which has some of its own unique history involving oil and gas, and industry.

I've been trying to come up with something to go along with this, but have been having a lot of trouble because I often find myself thinking of China as a totalitarian police state where people go to get imprisoned and executed.

I had been thinking of using the Andy Wilman as the evil villain sending the trio places idea, and combining that with a Jason Bourne meets Memento meets a kid getting thrown a set of car keys meets The Grand Tour.

I pictured Wilman getting the three presenters drunk in a pub in England, shuffling them off into cabs with 3 women who may or may not be prostitutes, then having the three presenters wake up the next day in the Chinese copycat cities. Hammond would of course have to wake up in Paris, May in Thames Town, and Clarkson in Jackson Hole. All three would find a DVD on the dresser in the room where they wake up, which they would assume had something to do with the night before. Next to the DVD would be a set of keys and a note from Wilman challenging the presenters to get out of the country. The one who makes it to the airport first would not have the content of their DVD made public. I pictured a Citroen SM being left for Hammond in Paris, a 92-95 Ford Taurus SHO being left for Clarkson in Jackson Hole, and a Lotus Carlton being left for May in Thames Town.

I had thought of a lot more to add in to this, but I think that I'll just leave it here.

Gennargentu National Park in Sardinia. I said that I would drop the bike stuff, but this could be really good with motorcycles.

it's not
(a large amount of our oxygen comes from there 20%, if you believe this)
it does not...
the rainforest generates a huge amount of oxygen, but it contains so much life that it's all used locally, it's not spread over the world.
what it does do however, is evaporate large amounts of water, which comes down in the Andes as rain, eroding the soil and feeding the Atlantic with nutrients, which the phytoplancton uses to grow, generating the oxygen we use in europe
