Fixed by adding backup servers. Seems irc.p44.org isn't working. Use irc.us.p44.org or irc.eu.p44.org meanwhile.

[edit] Flushing your DNS will fix it: Start -> Run -> ipconfig /flushdns [/edit]

I've been hanging there for a week or so, and nobody god kicked/banned once.. Also there're 20-25 people lurking all the time :)
