Classic or Crock

Classic. I5 Turbo. Especially in wagon form. How I wish I could've had a C4 S6 as my first car, but my C4 A6 wasn't bad either, until I killed it :(

Crock, because it's not a first gen S8 and didn't appear in Ronin. The A6 is Audi's 5er. It suffers from an identity crisis.

A4/3er = Spordy!
A8/7er = Luxo but quick with it.
A6/5er = Erm, erm, erm.

Plus it's not a wagon and Audis with more than two doors aren't cool unless they are wagons.

Or were in Ronin.

 You must spread some Disgraced Samurai around before giving it to MWF again.

Had to give it to CrzRsn because of one reason. I5 Turbo. Would have love to give it to MWF but its an S6. Very much a different car from typical A6! :p

Thanks. Forgot to mention, I5 turbo with optional V8. The best engine combo.

Anyways, next up. The R170 SKL

So of its time that it has no hope of enduring beyond it. Utter crock.

You guys are no fun. What about the fact that it was the first mass market power retractable hardtop? Sure there were others before it, but the SLK really brought the feature to the mainstream.

Crock. It really is the definition of "hairdresser's car". Aside from the hairdresser styling and auto-only transmissions, even the AMG version just wasn't all that fast.

You could get a manual.

I'll give it to Craig for his concise answer.

Classic. Because there's no substitute to it. A mechanically simple, light, RWD, V8 powered Station Wagon. Also parts compatibility with essentially the *ahem*Sports Car of it's marque makes it even better.

Classic, because of the wood....

..that it just gave to Dr Grip. :D

Aren't are you a little biased? :p

Fair enough

What about this?

Mercedes_Benz-S_Class_W140_mp35_pic_39424.jpg

Some people said it's the last over-engineered Mercedes. But the W140 is in kind of a limbo. All previous S-Klasse are now definitely classics, yet, the W140 isn't. And while the equivalent E38 and D2 A8 are surefire becoming classics because of movie appearances. The W140 doesn't have that kind of privilege. What do you think?

The last over-engineered, and also the first one bean-countered to death. It is a classic, but just because of size and that most of them are already dead.
