As someone who is currently watching all of DS9, I find the above comic mildly amusing.
 
Heh, i just started Voyager
 
I liked Voyager for the most part, it was better than TNG because they were out on their own and not cruising around the sci-fi equivalent of the interstate in a 5-star hotel with guns.

But the ending was a total cop-out.

(a+bi)(a-bi) = a^2 + b^2 + aib - aib = a^2 + b^2

Since i (the imaginary number) has been multiplied by itself, the resulting value is a real number.
