My list is also way to long to be posted. So I'll do it sometime later tonight after I type it out.

Shall we start with the reasonable and work our way up?

After living in Northern Virginia for a few years where there are a lot of overpaid government defense contractors, I have a little reach for my wants. It's a mix of exotics, toys, and classics. Each one of these cars I've had some obsession over, and I hope to have a nice car collection someday.

Hey, Smartpnoi, no need to be defensive, I have my list saved in my Gmail drafts folder, so I can edit it anytime.

I'm sure it's a repost, we've done something similar in the past already.

The dignified bastard collection:
Jaguar X300 XJR
E32 BMW 750iL
Mercury Marauder

The "What do you want to wear while you wrap yourself around a tree" GT collection:
Some manner of Jag XJS or other
Ferrari 308
Aston V12 Vantage
BMW 850CSi

The Beater collection (all these cars should be stripped and caged):
Ford Crown Victoria/Police Interceptor
Pontiac Bonneville SSEi
10x Gen1/Gen2 Toyota Tercels (Loaner cars, first cars for the kids who don't share my good taste in automobiles, and TOYOTA TERCEL SOCCER!)
Toyota Prius - with some sort of mid-engined exotica V12 where the back seat should be.

The Landowner's Collection:
Old and busted rollback tow truck (Utility use, and moving around this fleet of cars)
Ancient Land Rover, probably a Series III, for property maintenance and playing in my mud.

The Family Collection:
Pre-1999 Land Rover Discovery (For when the fast stuff above becomes incapacitated by ice, or when I have the desire to go play in somebody else's mud)
Volvo XC90 (for the woman)

*checks watch* yup, another "What's your dream garage" thread. Right on time.

My list is simple:

Toyota FJ80, fully restored and built with a diesel conversion (maybe import from Down Under on the gray market?) - capable of driving from Prudhoe Bay to Cape Horn.
AWD Sedan, hopefully a hybrid for good daily driving.
2000 Honda VFR, with restored fairings and a supercharge kit.
Adventure touring bike, like a BMW GS

That's it. I have fallen out of love with exotics and impractical cars. Sports cars don't thrill me the way motorcycles do anyway. Of course there has to be room in the garage for Kiki's dream collection too (and probably an Italian mechanic on speed dial).
