I remember reading an article on some DIY-inventors from the Americas doing a kludge job on a Prius some years back and getting ridiculous mileage.

Anyone remember that article? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Also interested in anything related to the subject. If you got anything related to "overclocking" electric vehicles, please post it here!
 
Well, that killed the conversation.

edit: Following threads and links relating to this stuff lead me to fuel cells.

Fuel cells lead me to fuel cell stacks and what's available for consumer purchase.

And.. they're ridiculously expensive. A 3kW fuel cell stack is something around 15k?. So I guess I'll just table this for a couple of years, since I have no way of economically using this information or technology. :(
