Endurance racing 2016

IMSA posted a great hightlight video of the 12 hours of Sebring. Definitely worth a watch.

IMSA at Long Beach

WEC and ELMS at Silverstone

Not enough hours in the weekend

Pretty good IMSA race at Long Beach today. Unfortunately the leading Corvette and a 911 got tangled up again. Seems like a rivalry is brewing. Or should be.

912 just got a drive thru which is a bit rubbish :censored:

WEC live now, hope the snow stays away

Aston roll was scary too.

Almost like the race nobody wanted to win.

Only one functioning hybrid on the podium, could an LMP2 win LM?

Today's IMSA race at Road America was pretty awesome. The final few laps were crazy. I would recommend watching a replay, if possible.

Just under four hours left at WEC Mexico

Crazy race Porsche lucky to win.

has there been a revision of the BOP for this race?
how can aston martin win this? elevation that high, with an NA engine, battling with the turbo ferraris and porsches?

Do you mean turbo Porsche aswell? because they're naturally aspirated

It's weird though, made me wonder since qualy.

i did...i had no idea they weren't

my guess is NA cars got a shit load of power with smaller restrictors, after Ford Le mans win and Ferrari winning the Nurburgring, and posting better lap times.

The 991 will be turbocharged from season 2017 on. Not officially confirmed yet, but it will. ;)

And with the 3rd place finish in the Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta last night, the #4 Corvette C7R of Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner won the championship in GTLM in IMSA. I was extremely worried about the Ford GT's going into this race. But unfortunately the #67 Ford GT, that was fighting for the championship, suffered a few mechanical issues throughout the race and was never truly in contention.

It was great to see the Risi Ferrari 488 GTE finally get a win though. So many late race incidents for them. I imagine they'll be a force to be reckoned with next year.
