A great trailer showing:

- Cockpitview
- perfect Sound
- 400 cars
- damage even roll over

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuund

RELEASE: THIS OKTOBER

I?m so excited now. :drool::w00t:

Cars still look the same, as in cartoonish.

I don't need social networking bullshit in my games either, thats why I have friends.

GT5 needs to come out so I can sell my 360.

No Forza Watersports, shiiiit.

Trying to find a site for the trailer?

Horrible just horrible.

Cars still look like they are made out of plastic and just adding a cockpit view isn't enough. But the worst part was when the man from Turn 10 kept telling that this was the best racing game out there and that it had 400 cars!!! Wow!!

Dude! Can I remind you that Gran Tursimo 5 will have 600 + cars??

Don't get me wrong. I'm not telling the game sucks. I'm just telling that it's just stupid the way how they presented the game.

EDIT: Sorry if I sound too harsh but I'm infuriated by the presence of Kojima - san presenting a Metal Gear Solid for the 360. Traitor... ??

@Vitros,

you may be right but we already saw Forza 3 now.
GT5 is still words, nothing more.

No damage has been seen yet etc.

I buy both games anyway but for a comparism Polyphony has to put real facts now on the table.

Site is online :)

True. GT5 has to show up yet but even if it does and it brings NO damage I still think GT5 > Forza 3. The real evolution was Forza 2 but with this third game they only added stupid things like the video editor or the car paintings sstuff. They should concentrate on making good game graphics and improve even more the simulation aspects.

But hey! I'll probably buy it too but I still feel Forza 3 could have been much more.

Oi, link the trailer! :<
From what I gather the trailer was streamed on Microsoft's live press conference. It has been capped and will be on youtube shortly. It is also on the new site, which is swamped at the moment.

GT5 is a great game, if it was a beauty contest GT5 would be Miss Sweden and Forza would be runner-up to Miss New Jersey, no doubt about that. Anyone who says Forza looks better than GT5 is a super fanboi!

It's not a beauty contest though. To me Forza is a better game on the whole. Now I've played through GT4 and probably about 5-8 hours on GT5P. To me Forza trumps GT5 in physics, sound, multiplayer, customization, car selection, and overall community. GT is better at Graphics, presentation, and track selection.

Either way GT and Forza are better games from this healthy competition, and without Forza, GT5 wouldn't be the game it is supposed to be. Either way it's a matter of opinion. If I had the means I'd have GT5P right now.

^ Well, kind of. I don't really play any games anymore. GT5 is the only one I'm interested in right now.

Stunt driving is a bit stupid, but hey it's an opening trailer.

You know what? I'd still buy it :p

But honestly I really do hope Poliphony shows something tomorrow at the E3 conference or I'll start to get VERY worried. :(

WOW. Those F3 screenshots look way better than I though it would. Almost as good as GT5P.

I love the look of that mountain track. I hope they have fantasmical tracks like that.

I can't wait for this.

That worries me a bit. The AI was really easy in F2 even on hard... don't make it easier please!

I'm on my second Forza disc after playing the first one to death. Still think it's the best handling game and not the best perceived handling game. Lost faith in GT after 4 but 5 Prologue is very good. I love having the choice and would be proper excited if Polyphony announced something spectacular but knowing Forza 3 is finally confirmed has me shitting my pants in excitement. :D

Bring on the demo! :D
It's looking good so far, but we all know that trailers and marketing speak isn't aimed at the more "discerning" racers like (probably) most of us. Forza 2 had some physics issues that I hope will be ironed out, and seeing that car roll in the trailer definitely hints at a better model - where tyre lift and bottoming out will be factors.

I've almost given up on GT5, I guess we'll know what's up at Sony's presentation tomorrow. I bought a PS3 a long time ago just for that one game, and it's just been gathering dust... I do hope they can pull something fantastic out of that PD bag, but right now there are so many "ifs" and "buts" that nobody knows when or even what we'll get.

I don't know about more roll, still looked pretty flat and level to me. But they showed that close-up of the Ford GT that showed the tires bending, so that's an improvement at least.

Going over jumps still seems pretty lifeless too. Like way over-damped or something.
