This is an event organized by Audi where you'll be able to drive the all new Q7 plus almost all of their other cars (including the 07 RS4! )

You can register for free if you live in (or are willing to travel to) one of those cities:
Atlanta May 20-21
Chicago May 6-7
Dallas June 3-4
Los Angeles May 6-7 (Sold Out)
Miami May 27-28
New York April 29-30 (Sold Out)
Philadelphia May 13-14
San Diego April 29-30
San Francisco May 13-14 (Sold Out)
Seattle May 20-21

I'm already registered for May 21st in Seattle and I can't wait. This is what they say the experience will be like for Seattle, I'm sure it'll be pretty similar elsewhere:

You and your guest will be escorted to your own Audi Q7. Audi will have over thirty vehicles on site to assure you have access to the cars you want to drive without long waits.

You will meet an Audi professional driver who is also a product specialist. This guide will host your ride from the passenger seat and help you better understand the technology and design features of the Audi that contribute to your great ride.
Next, you?ll head off onto the streets of Seattle and test the car under real-life, everyday conditions ? starts and stops, acceleration, rough roads, even parallel parking if you like

Coming off the road, you?ll enter the two courses of the Audi Circuit, a closed, off-street playground where you can really see your car perform.

The quattro? course will feature elements for acceleration, slalom, evasive maneuvering, and a twisting area with various speeds ? all demonstrating all-around handling and performance of the Audi Q7 and other Audi vehicles. There will also be a roller ramp and a large, low friction/traction area to demonstrate Audi?s famous quattro? system. This is a Teflon-coated surface coated with soap and water that has traction much like snowy asphalt.

The performance course will be a timed course using the Race America computerized timing system. Approximately 1/3 mile long and not unlike a small road race track, you will be able to push the all-new 2007 RS 4 close to the limit, experiencing the all-around handling and performance of the engine, brakes, and suspension ? the awesome performance of the Audi.

THAT IS SO AWESOME :woot: (for you...)

Props to Audi for some good marketing

Be sure to take your digi-cam with you! Ohh I wish more manufactures would do this and not just in America. The stuff on the track should be good fun for a petrolhead like yourself. I'm sooo jelous hahaha!!

That schedule is CRAP... the sheer number of Audi's sold in Colorado and the number of potential buyers in and around Denver make them skipping the entire statea VERY stupid move!

THey have these for Mazda and Lexus as well, the problem is ..

Only 25 year olds can drive.. Its horrible.. great way to sell me the car.. They should at least run a check or something, because I know there are many of us young'ens who can afford these cars and arnt allowed to drive them.. Insurance.. what a hassle.

It is awesome indeed, I hope it turns out even half as good as I image it would be!
I will make sure I take my cam and report back to you guys :)

For what it's worth, BMW has similar programs. I am also registered for notification when this one comes to Seattle this year, they say August.

I know people who went last year and drove all of BMWs lineup in one day. Better yet, BMW donates for every mile _you_ drive in their cars, with no limit on the number of cars you can drive or the miles you can rack up. So you're driving for a good cause too!

Funnily enough, I'm not 25 yet. But I will be at the time of the event so I just answered yes
I should be 25 in a week, would have kicked myself in the butt for not being born earlier if this was 3 weeks earlier.

fuck San Francisco is sold out :(

Dammit dammit dammit - why can't Audi in Australia run something like this :x

GM has done these events many times as well. Part of the reason why their cars don't sell that well :bangin:

Why does Audi completely ignore the entire midwest with exception to chicago, and Dallas?

Damn it, it only takes one kangaroo to go OT around here

I have no interest in going to the hellhole that is Chicago to test drive an Audi. Besides, I already own one.
