And at least post a picture if you're going to make a new thread to plug that website, jeez

Forgot to attach sorry, it's more just to see who they are actually. I really didn't have a clue who Rory Reid was at first so just thought people would think the same

Congrats to Harris. He really deserves to be on a medium with a broader range than YouTube. And to be honest, that changed my opinion about new Top Gear, too. I am now quite excited to see what they are able to do with such a talented guy.

Judging from that picture, Chris Harris is the new Hammond?
I didn't realize he is that tiny.

Pretty good lineup. Dunno about Rory Reid, but the rest have enough automotive knowledge and personality to create something special.

Will be interesting to see how the new format will work.

looks like a completely desperate lineup. there's going to be a lot of chemistry disconnect since they will all have to fight for air time. I'm not hopeful at all for this. had it just been with Matt LeBlanc and a couple others, it would be solid.

this is going to end badly imo

Nice to see Chris and Sabine, even though the line up feels a bit:

I imagine the line-up will be pretty fluid until the show finds its new groove. Here's hoping they manage to create something fresh.

Okay. It looks like they're going to do a variant on the Fifth Gear in terms of presenter interaction (there's not going to be enough airtime to develop CHM-type camaraderie among them all), only with live action audience elements.

Much then will depend on the stories they all come up with. If they can keep with the CHM idea of pushing cars beyond their comfort zone, thus firing up the imagination of the audience, then there's a good chance of success.

It's sort of taking Top Gear back to its routes of having a wide presenting circle - I expect it will be more a series of packages anchored by Chris Evans than the previous format of Last of the Summer Cars.

I love the messing about, middle aged bloke humour of CHM but CHM are going to be doing that themselves on Amazon - so it made much more sense for Top Gear on the BBC to do what Top Gear has done once before and completely evolve and become a different show.

It worked at the turn of the century when Clarkson created the Top Gear we know today out of the ashes of old Top Gear - so it could work again. But don't expect it to be the show we've watched for a decade and a half.

Well, such a large group should make cheap-car challenges really fun.

And will make editing a bear. I hope they still have some good editors on staff that didn't leave with CHM.

Have they said what the format is likely to be? :?

Cheap-car-challenge, SIARPC, race across Europe car vs. something, etc., may be too reminiscent of the Clarkson/Wilman ideas for the BBC or they may be part of the severance deal.

I don't know these new people. Can any of them be reasonably described as either a car person or a word smith?

Did you ever watch Top Gear at all? Evans, LeBlanc, and Sabine all appeared on the show.
