Why do the rest of us bother taking photos?

I still think the 300/2.8L IS is still worth keeping even if there is a replacement model. Don't you guys agree?

Most people wouldn't replace because a new one is comming out.

Is video ok?

Canon 7D, ISO somewhere between 2500-4000ish, 1/50sec at 1080p24, EF 35mm f/2 wide open. A little curves and colour adjustment in Premiere Pro CS5

Nope, overcast and some burning.

Her noses being cut off doesnt really bother me, in fact, it kind of lends a sense of size of the dog in the foreground and uses her to split the photo into two distinct halves, which I kind of like. one with a lot of background elements (the other dog, house) and the blank space with just sky going to the treeline.
