Lens Flair

I've lost the flair for just walking around and taking photos of random shit.

Attended a friend's fashion show, shot for fun

Went out at 2 AM last night, didn't realise how cold it was and didn't bring gloves and was very cold, totally worth it.

^ Nice.

Also, you bastard. As an astronomer that's one thing I've always wanted to witness. That and the solar eclipse. I missed both chances.

It was covering like two thirds of the sky, definitely the biggest I've ever seen and aurora, and it was crazy active, not the brightest though. When we lived outside of Edmonton (53N, I'm at 50N here) there was one epicly bright aurora, stark green ribbons in the sky before it was even dark! You should move away from that comfortable temperture all year hell hole to somewhere cold... umm... yeah...

^ I definitely need to, there's nothing astronomically significant here.

If there is, we're also unlikely to see it/photograph it because of the damn light pollution. At least I think it's better in San Diego than in Riverside?

No animals were hurt in the framing of this photograph.
