^^^ agreed - I don't think there was a bad picture on that last page at all. Asphotos showing a great catalogue too (tho breaking the thread rules - tut tut) of a standard of work that is quite simply remarkable!

Hello! I'm back from my snowboarding holiday!
Finally catched up with all the photos on this thread that I've missed over the past couple of weeks and... :jawdrop: :woot: :bow: To pretty much all of them. They look amazing even on this crappy 7 year old TFT laptop monitor (read 1024x768 in dithered colour goodness).

I had another photo from my Christmas holiday in Egypt I wanted to post before I went away but ran out of time, will put that up sometime though.
Also managed to get a few nice photos while snowboarding in Austria, which I copied to my PC last night. Unfortunately my Graphics card decided it was the appropriate time to die this morning so I now cannot actually get to my photos to put any up so it'll have to wait a week or so. :cry: But then, having seen the contributions here over the last couple of weeks, maybe that's a good thing as suddenly I feel the photos from my dinky compact camera are not quite that good!

Keep up the excellent work guys, hope to be back contributing here again soon!

Thanks... it helps a lot that I found the super-secret hidden custom white balance setting on my camera.

(Seriously. It's not in the manual, and you have to do a button sequence to "unlock" the custom WB mode. Same with the manual focus. I think my camera was designed by the KGB.)

My camera, shoot RAW? AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA! Man, I wish I had a camera that shot RAW. My camera barely has limited manual controls, much less RAW capability.

^ :lol: , and Isaacaiken: after I got a little confused over your last shots in general (too much art and too less photo for my taste) I really like the last one, although the format is difficult to handle on a PC monitor!
