Lens Flair

Wow Alok nice shot.

If I have any criticism it may be that the fill flash isn't quite close enough (the front is a little bit too much in shadow) and casts a bit more light on the grass than it should, but overall it looks fantastic, love the colours!

I havent used any flash. I used 13 different exposures to get a near perfect HDR image :)

My mistake, explains the colours :)

The whiter light on the wheels looked like fill flash, that's where I misunderstood.

Very tastefully done HDR!

Thank you kind sir :)

Another from my DIY Lightbox experiments

i made a light box as well, out of a leather desk chair box and some extra bits from a huge ikea box, then used tinfoil and some art paper (30p a sheet for A1...nice thick stuff as well)

its pretty ruined now though because i've been taking pics of the individual parts of the formula student car

Love this sheet - well done, not a bad shot for some time and some stunners - you know who you all are. ... Missing a shot from Dan?

:lmao: I just got negative repped for my picture in post #9541. A picture! What does that have to do with forum reputation?

 What a coward, didn't even leave a message. If you don't like it, tell me why "face to face" so I can improve.

could we see your Lightbox? I want to make one myself...

http://www.flickr.com/photos/silencer_rh/2044706201/ <-- theres a very average quick snap of it.

It's very small but because of its size I only needed one globe, if I built it with the dimensions I originally wanted (20"x20"x30") I would have needed 4 globes, at $15aud each, as well as another 3 holders/lamps (not to mention 3 more sheets of foamcore at $10aud each)

I have shortened it a little as it was too deep and the light wasn't reflecting onto the rear wall evenly which made for a slightly visible edge.

My MX5 is back from being fixed, hooray! Horrible weather here though!

used my new 1.4x TC on my 80-200.. not that I needed it since this shot ended up being at around 190mm or so.

Anyway, this is Seattle from about 5.5 miles away. I challenge you to find a similar shot.. I don't think I've ever seen one. I'll have to head back and take a shot when the Olympic Mountains are visible as well...

That looks phenomenal, pity about the background :-/

yeah but just think... the porta potty is probably where u wanna be after a ride in that beast!
