Here`s one from me. This was the biggest grasshopper I`ve ever seen. It would barely fit in my palm.

i've always just considered them crows...but I don't know.

shot with a 17-40mm 1:4L on a Rebel XT (i hate the XT btw), but the lens is awesome.

It's a raven, look at its tail; crows have a blunt, squared off tail, plus you were photographing where Ravens usually live. I myself have only seen them in the Coulee country in Western Wisconsin.
