Nice photo Solberg... is that a lecture of some sort?

I'd hit that, by the way. Academic types ftw.

Oh and welcome back :p

I see a few other old timers around too!
Oh, and thank you :)

I've been alive. Still here in Seattle.

It was actually taken at the British Motor show. It was just a gimmick at the Ford stand ;)

Level, that Scooby photo is absolutely awesome!

It's good if only, it looks like a quick snap shot. All those people really ruin the photo and the composition isn't very dramatic. It looks like a photo anyone would just take. I would try to get much much closer any try and compose my shot so that there are no people in it. If there do happen to be a few, I would try to clone them out.

I gave your photo a quick job. I did a quick (and poor) job of cloning out the people, I added a few filters and sharpened it. The result is quite good (and that is with poor composition). If you gave your composition more thought, you could easily have got a epic photo.

Please don't take any of this the wrong way. I am only trying to help and give out some tips ;-)

Anyway, + rep for trying :)

A fellow Motorsport club member. She autocrosses more than anyone else in the club and we have some pretty dedicated members.

Thanks a lot.

I've got a few potential subjects for photos around here, now it's just a matter of finding the right moment to get the snapshot... with the right settings.

And I'm not taking it the wrong way. Thanks again for the tips. :+1: to you.

I don't know, I don't mind the people. I think a shot is a shot, what's there is there.

Here's my attempt:

Hmmm... Looks a bit weird with the sky having that purple-ish hue.

OK, I know I'm not supposed to post another photo today, but here's another little attempt. This time, since I can't work well with sky hues...

Ironically, the shadow falling on the pavement slabs is of a man who was once hit on the head with one of those things.
