Lens Flair

That's fricken' AWESOME! It looks like better than a movie still. Chase car, I assume?

Yea, it was a timeattack event a good friend of mine organizes, and I take pics of him. Half an hour before the end of the day, all the drivers were done with their timed laps, so the "boys" of the team went out in this RB25 powered S13, an R32 Skyline and the car I am in, a Subaru Impreza GC8. It was fun as hell, and a great way to end the day.

Back to cruise ships again, this is the MSC Orchestra backing out from port at Akershus Fortress cruise terminal in Oslo...

nice thinly veiled bragging :p

It wasnt meant to be. With DX I used to be able to align sharp edges to the vertices of the frame, now with FX I have to look around, and I end up always having to fix it by cropping in lightroom :(

I can sort of relate. Since I've upgraded to the D90, I, too, am noticing I have to look around a little more than I did with the D40.

Don't feel too bad, it probably took 3 or 4 shots to get it right and I still had to do some perspective corrections in post :)
