My first console. My dad bought it for me back in the days.

It was at my grand parents, now I've reclaimed it.

I'd thought I'd share it with you all.

First everything on the table.

The game (and only games I've ever owned for it)
60000 in 1 ? Not bad..

Gamepad:

Getting it to work is another story, but after some tinkering I got somewhat playable.

First thing one sees is this:

Sorry about the shit quality, but it isn't as good as it was new. And Shooting in the dark freehand isn't exactly one of my strong points.

Its actually like 14 games, and each other game is just one of the orginal 14 or so but starting at different levels, or with a different gun.

Teenage mutant Ninja Turtles II :

Tank, a true classic. Simple and fun with 2 players:

Plus, many more games. A few shooting ones, but I broke the gun ages ago. Also a few classics like Dig-Dug.

It actually says "Master Fighter III" i think its just a rip-off.

All the characters are from streetfighter, but not that many of them.

Ye thats Ryu, and Bison, but hes called Vega for some reason.

that one stage that you are fighting in is definately Ryu's from street fighter, so maybe its some weird japanese version or something? :?

the name for M.Bison was supposed to be Balrog, but Balrog was given to the boxer, who was supposed to be M.Tison (mike tyson) but they screwed up AGAIN and named him M.Bison. silly mistakes :? :? :?

My first was an NES. I have the floor pad, the gun, original box, etc. :D

One of my friends at university got an Atari (spelling) off ebay and it had this really cool game called,
"Clown Down Town", well not so cool more funny.

^^ Nope, never heard of it.

Growing up as a child of greenie parents kinda hindered my gaming career right from the beginning. I remember everyone else having a Gameboy or NES/Snes when I grew up, but not me. My parents refused to buy me a gaming console. They thought it would be healthier for a child to go out and play instead of wasting time infront of the TV screen. Therefore the first game I ever played over at a friends house on his NES. I believe it was some sort of puzzle game. I can't really remember.

I took revenge later in life when I bought a Dreamcast from my first self earned paycheck.

Ahh the old days without having a memory card! I dont know what made us want to have to start over again but games back then were soo addictive.

I rented The Getaway 2 (PS2) and its so boring im using it as a drinks coaster now..

What a classic discovey dude. Save it and show it to your grand kids..... They'll love to see one of the daddies of game consoles.

my 1st consol was a broken ps1...

long story short,

i was doing compulsory work experience in a electronics returns warehouse for 2 weeks. at the end, they said they couldnt give me money (cos they wernt supposed to) but instead, i could have something from the warehouse, ie cds, dvds (but not the mobile phones, dammit)... anyway, i couldnt decide because the music they had was pretty crap, and i didnt have a dvd player at the time. then they offered me a playstation.

like i said, it was a returns warehouse, so when u return your faulty junk, it ends up there.

anyway, i accepted the playstation because the warehouse ppl said only the controller was faulty, and they replaced it with a different one. so i took it home, and yep, it didnt work

so i worked from 9 to 5 for 2 weeks doing manual labour, and got a piece of junk in return. i managed to sell it for 5pounds to the kids down the road though, lol

I still have an Old C64 in mint condition somewhere, i see what old comps or consoles i still have lying around. If i find any quick in the week i get some photos.

Geez I feel old.

I have an Atari Pong made in the middle 70's (never owned one, found this one in a flea market).

Then an Atari Lynx (color portable in 1992)
Then an Atari Jaguar.
Then a Playstation.
Then a Dreamcast.
Then an N64.
Then X-Box.
Then PS/2.
Then PSP.

Mulling over X-Box 360.
