Mixing engine oil

I have two bottles of different oil. Both are Castrol Edge synthetic 5W30 but one is "Titanium" and the other is "Syntec" (whatever those are). Can I mix them or no? I have about 3.5qt of one and I only need about 0.5qt of the other for a complete oil change.

You should be fine; I mix brands of synthetic all the time so mixing within a brand should be okay.

Yea, you should be fine. If it were Castrol and Mobil, I wouldn't mix them. But even so, because you are only talking about .5qt of one, it should be fine either way.
