PacketCollision has set up a Mumble server for us. If you want to voice chat with fellow FinalGear.com folks while gaming or even just to BS, this is the place to do it!

Address: forums.finalgear.com
Port: 64738 which is the default Mumble port

Mine's slightly different, I just roll with the ingame one.

Doesn't look like I'm leaving the Mumble any time soon lol.

OK so now it says host not found.

I am using my FG username and passwords but what do I enter as the label?

Lol. Doin' it wrong there buddy. The label is just whatever you want to name the Mumble server.

Just place it exactly like that, but with your username.

Did you use the Add New Server button? I'm not sure what you're doing that's making it do that. I didn't have any problems joining...

Post screens maybe?

Same here

[21:51:58] Server connection failed: The remote host closed the connection.

Not really willing to reboot for that :D.

You might have to reinstall the client..But try restarting if you haven't because I did that and it worked.

We're in the Mumble and what I'm getting is that you need to reinstall the client and then restart.

Ha, found the "problem", at least for my side. I didn't notice that it installed 2 versions of mumble, the current one and the "downwards compatible" one, which I tried. But that being 1.1.x, it was too old for the server. 1.2.3 is working.

The 123 version. Just been chatting with PacketCollision and Viper.

Diving for a shower then might hop back on.
