Took my camera to the Dallas Auto Show on Sunday. Weather was miserable, and since my wife had to do some work that morning, it was pretty much a sprint through the exhibit hall, and I didn't get to see everything.

However, I did see a few cool things.

This Challenger was eye-catching:

Honda's new minivan is more cool than the new Accord Crosstour:

Dodge's Ram Pickup is equipped for fully inverted driving(?):

Ford picked the ugliest color to introduce many people to the new Fiesta:

Lexus brought a black LFA:

Taurus SHO on a platform, out of reach - but many more expensive cars were touchable.

And a reminder of why America is getting fat. (Spotted at a concession stand.)

Enjoy!

I've got some pics as well (I guess you missed the ReedSpeed girls), but I'm still sorting them. :D

So, are we going to see Richard Hammond trying to drive that on the ceiling? :p

What an odd way to show your new truck....

Looks like a pretty good way to me. "Check this out. The frame is so damned hardassed we can dangle it heavy-end-out UPSIDE DOWN from the end of the frame rails - and our insurance company will even let you walk underneath it!"

Yeah, it's not actually a brilliant technical achievement, but it's visually impressive, and that's what counts for sales.
