This year me and my buddies decided to go for it and visit the IAA in Frankfurt. We picked the weekend because of time concerns, and it was the first weekend, which ment that the crowds would be enormous. We were proven right as we arrived. The waiting lines were quite big. But thanks to german efficiency, they were processed quickly.

The plan of the exhibition and the locations of the manufacturers:

First in line was BMW. We skipped mini, since no one of us was really interested in it.

There were also plenty of sites like these:

We had the chance to see the new NFS shift in action. They had a really neat setup with simulators.

The new Opel Astra. Nice. Very nice. Maybe Opel has a future after all.

Here's the rotten 3. Camaro SS, Challenger SRT8(with me leaning on the fender) and the Shelby mustang.

The marussia supercars. Notice the blinker. Looks like it's from a lada or something. The design of the cars is great though.

The engine bay of the Aston Martin Rapide. The rapide looks simply stunning. Aston showed Porsche how to make a good looking 4 door sports car.

VW had nothing really interesting to show. Neither had Ford, Skoda, Toyota, Peugeot...

I made more pics, but i don't want to bore you too much with cars that you've already seen in the press photos and IAA reports. If you'd like to see something that i may have not shown, do tell.

The waiting lines were quite big. But thanks to german efficiency, they were processed quickly.

What??? I think Germany is the most sucking place on earth when it comes to managing a large crowd of people except some camps a several decades ago

The dutch are the best crowd handlers from my experience.

Well... I just looked at the first picture because I'm going there myself this week and don't want to spoil it :p

Will watch the pics afterwards, but thanks you took them, I'm too lazy to take some myself
