I'm looking to pick up a couple new lenses before next year's photography trips start for my self.

I saw this lens:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/124669-USA/Nikon_1986_80_200mm_f_2_8_ED_AF_D.html

80-200mm F2.8 AF-D.

Now, that is apparently meant to be used for ultra accurate flash readings (due to my limited google detective work). My question is, would these lenses have an equal focusing power to AF-S (or even 2/3rds the quickness of focus) for capturing motion?

Generally if something is too good to be true, it usually is...

Good info, thanks for the lens too. I may actually pick that one up.
