How common are those over there? I don't think we ever got them here in the states, because I've never seen one.

Well, they?ve only build 8000 20 years ago wich are scattered across the globe ... so they are rare. But you see one every now and then ... this is one of only 3 that I know of in my 300k hometown. But I think I?m right in saying ... apart from being rare and interesting ... people don?t actually lust after them. It?s the design and the proportions. They don?t look the part IMO.

Funny that this car comes up since I haven't seen one in years but in the last two weeks I spotted three of them on different occasions.

That said, in the last two weeks I saw about 20 (yes, twenty) Mercedes-Benz R107...

Kind of what I was thinking. I drive an '03 Silverado 1500 for a work truck. It's not lifted like the one pictured, but I wouldn't consider either big.

Now here is one that I?ve never seen before, or even heard of ... a DAF 66 Marathon Coup?. If german wikipedia is to be believed, thanks to a CVT gearbox, the DAF66 could drive has fast backwards as forward ... yeah ... it?s a dutch car ... the carzy is a feature, not a bug.

Jaaaaag E-type Coupe

Saw the coupe for the first time "live" a couple of days ago too ... in black.

Never been such a big fan of the E-Type cabriolet (not that I think it wouldn?t look good - just not such a big fan as everyone else) ... but the coupe is just sublime ... especially in black. Did I mention it looks stunning in black? No? It?s stunning in black ... and another thing - If I ever own one ... I?ll have mine in black. Because it looks best in black.

I saw the new SLS today four times, the guy driving it liked the looong straight road where i live...

It sounded awesome! (espcially going by in a nicely shaped landscape where the hills around you reflect the sound )
