WOW! Did he actually went to shoping in that car? That is awsome!!!
Yup, I had a chat with him about it and he believes, as do I, you should use a car. Otherwise it just becomes an ornament, people who buy them as investments force the values up pricing out enthusiasts.

I actually think I saw this in my village near Penrith the other week. There can't be too many about, can there?
Most probably the same one, although last year I saw a Bentley 3-Litre at a local car show, but that was a 4-door IIRC. There are a surprising number left considering they are all over 80 years old!

Last saturday there was a Porsche meeting here at my town, couldn't take pictures though, but someone else did, so I'll just copy-paste them.

Haven't posted in over a month as I was busy with my engine project, but here we go with a mega-update.

Classic Peugeot estate (don't know which type):

Bumblebee Camaro parked in front of my flat:

I was quite surprised of the total lack of presence/aura/whatever the lwb A8 has.

A Simson Duo:

I like this one much better than the A8 above:

Rover 25, the ugly, it hurts!

An EMW R35 motorcycle:

As U.S. sportscars have the image of pimp's cars over here, i was not surprised to snap this Cadillac in an area known for street prostiution:

Three monumentally bad shots of the new Opel Ampera, taken while riding my bike:

A Morris Minor woody:

This is a Ford Taunus Transit, the German-market only first generation of the Transit line.

I don't know what this is. I haven't got the slightest idea, but it is looking at me.

And finally i got the feeling someone desperately tried to get into this Jetta but was horribly incapable of reaching his goal.

And I love the way you glossed over the fact that the much-respected Doktor was frequenting an area known for street prostitution.

I just broke a super-injunction or something, didn't I?

Anyway, nice pics Herr Doktor.

It's the fastest way from A to B, no need to be shy about taking the shortest way ;)
